Starting February 2nd, 5th - 8th graders will be starting a Dance project in PE classes. This is to fulfill the dance requirement of the Diocesan physical education curriculum. Here is a list of rules:
1.Everyone must participate. You are graded on effort, not experience or dance skills. As long as you are trying, you will get credit
2.Each group must be between 3-6 people.
3.The routine will be timed, 2-3 minutes, and credit will be taken off dance does not meet time requirements
4.Songs MAY be chosen by groups but must be pre-approved by Ms. McFarland. If song can not be decided upon by Friday, 2/6, song will be assigned by Ms. McFarland.
5.Time will be given in class to practice but I encourage students to work outside of PE. Sign up sheets will be post in gym for practice times before and after school. Also, recess times will be available.
6.The dances will be performed in class during the week of Feb. 23-27
